Covan Labs / Identity
Two origins.
One continuous identity.
The Confluence C brings precision and flow together. Its aqua confluence represents Cobie and Evan coming together as Covan.
01 / Master
Polish B — Confluence C
The approved silhouette. Use the supplied artwork without redrawing or adjusting its confluence.
02 / Wordmark
A quiet counterpart.
Inter 600 for Covan, 425 for Labs. The mark carries the character; generous spacing lets it breathe.
Horizontal lockup: minimum 160px wide; recommended navbar width 184px at 40px artboard height. The visible gap is about 0.56× the visible mark height. Keep 高凡 secondary and use it only in localized contexts.
Typography comparison at navbar size
Inter keeps the existing wordmark’s precise rhythm and restrained character. Manrope is retained as a comparison only.
03 / Placement
Room to breathe.
x is the thickness of the left-middle stroke: 70.656 units on the 512-unit master artboard. Leave at least 1x around the visible artwork.
Measure clear space from visible ink, not from the SVG canvas edge. Artwork canvases do not automatically include the full exclusion zone. At a 36px navbar mark artboard, x is approximately 5px.
Master
64px and above for standalone use. The approved horizontal lockup is also validated at a 35–40px lockup artboard height. Keep it at least 160px wide; use a mark-only Micro C below that.
Micro
16–48px for compact UI. The counter and terminal clearance are simplified for recognition. It is a responsive derivative, not a replacement master.
04 / Responsive
Clarity at small sizes.
The favicon uses the monochrome Micro C on a navy tile. Both candidates are retained below at native pixel sizes, against dark and light browser chrome.
A · Two-color
B · Monochrome
A · Two-color
B · Monochrome
The monochrome favicon gives the tiny left spine one continuous tone. The two-color Micro C remains available for compact UI where aqua is useful.
05 / Palette
Navy. Silver. Aqua.
#08111F#F4F7FA#9EADBD#39C6C8#15999CAqua is a secondary accent. On light backgrounds use dark aqua for clearer graphical contrast; do not use either aqua as small text without a contrast check.
06 / Care
Keep the identity intact.
Do not add gradients or outlines, rearrange internal geometry, alter the confluence, or attach new symbols. Use the official light and monochrome assets when the primary artwork is unsuitable.
07 / Assets
Ready to use.
The kit includes portable SVGs, transparent PNGs at 512 / 256 / 128 / 64 / 32px widths, favicons, avatars, social artwork, editable sources and font licenses.
Small PNG exports are provided for compatibility; use the Micro assets for small interfaces. Official name: Covan Labs. Chinese name: 高凡.
