Claw Mai privacy policy

This policy covers Claw Mai, developed by Ho Lun Wong (Evan Wong), operating as Covan Labs in Hong Kong. For privacy questions or requests, email support@covanlabs.com.

No game account is required. Your progress stays on your device. The launch version has no active advertising, in-app purchases or in-game analytics service.

Information stored on your device

Claw Mai saves your coins, tickets, doll collection, machine arrangements, theme unlocks, quests, rewards, decorations and settings locally. It also keeps local play statistics, such as attempts, catches, play time and reward history, to support game progress and balancing checks. These records are not uploaded to our servers.

We do not operate an account or cloud-save service for this game. Apple device backups may include app data depending on your settings. Those backups are managed by Apple, not by Covan Labs.

Advertising, purchases and analytics

The launch version does not show ads, start purchases or offer subscriptions. “Coming Soon” controls for video rewards and coin packs are disabled. Daily free coins and earned-ticket purchases are game features, not payment transactions.

The app includes Google Mobile Ads and consent-support libraries for a future update, but the launch configuration does not initialize the ad service or request ads. Unity analytics and cloud crash reporting are disabled. We do not use your gameplay for targeted advertising or sell your personal information.

If an update enables advertising, purchases or analytics, we will update this policy to describe the actual information involved and provide any required notices and choices before enabling collection.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request, investigate bugs and improve support. Please share only what is needed; we do not need passwords, payment details or identity documents.

Our email providers process this correspondence on our behalf and may process it outside your country, including outside Hong Kong. We may disclose information when required by applicable law. Support messages are retained only as needed to handle the request, maintain relevant records and meet legal obligations.

Apple services

App Store and TestFlight downloads, feedback and diagnostics shared through Apple are governed by your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy policy. We may receive feedback or crash information through those services to investigate problems. This is separate from the game’s local save and does not create a cloud backup we can restore.

Your choices and deletion requests

• Remove local game data. Deleting Claw Mai from your iPhone or iPad removes its local app data. Offloading retains documents and data. Check your Apple backup settings separately. We cannot retrieve deleted progress from our servers.
• Control what you share. Send only the details and attachments you want us to receive. Review your Apple settings for platform diagnostics and backups.
• Ask about your support information. Contact support@covanlabs.com to request access, correction or deletion of information you have sent us. We may need to verify that a request is yours and may retain records required by law.

Children and personal information

Claw Mai does not ask players to create profiles or provide names, dates of birth or contact details. If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can investigate and handle a deletion request.

Visiting this website

These pages do not use advertising or analytics scripts. GitHub Pages hosts the site and logs visitor IP addresses for security. See the Covan Labs website privacy policy and GitHub’s privacy statement for website and provider handling.

Changes to this policy

We will post updates here with a revised date. Material changes to data collection will be explained in the app where required.
